I tried to follow the instructions given in the message, but when I look for the factorytalk activation program, it doesn't exist. When I run the rslogix 500 application I immediately get a message that says the software hasn't been activated and it will expire in 7 days. Use this method if you will typically use RSLogix 500 on more than one computer, for example, if you want to run RSLogix 500. The activation key resides on a floppy disk (activation disk). To run RSLogix 500 on a different computer, move the activation key back to the Master disk, and then to the hard drive of the new computer. They each have their own activation on the respecti.
